Crianzas y Viñedos Santo Cristo, S. Coop., was founded in year 1956 as results of the association of the Vinegrowers from the municipality of Ainzón, Bureta, Albeta, and Vera de Moncayo. Since the begining, our cellar has been a pioneer in reference with the elaboration of bottled quality wines. In 1978 the Origen Denomination "Campo de Borja", in order to provide this area (where are established all the municipalities that forming this cellar) with the recognition to the vinegrowers efforts and to the quality of their wines. The Origin Denomination was definitively conceded in 1980. The investment in the cellar during the last years has providing it with the necessary technology to assure the production of quality wines. We have recover old subterranean concrete tanks that are used to the crianza elaboration, due to the exceptional natural humidity and temperature conditions in these sheds. The crianza has taken place in american oak barrels and a later process of aging in the bottle. As a result of this process we obtain a quality crianza and reserva wines, one of the most representatives Crianzas of this Origin Denomination Besides this, the cellar elaborates red and white young wines, with the same standards of quality. Ainzon's Moscatel is remarkable because the craft way of elaboration that makes possible to distinguish from the others. In 1984, we began to elaborate the Cava with Macabeo and Parellada grapes, typical ones from this O.D. It is commercialized with the trade mark "Reinante" Brut Nature that is very appreciated by the experts.

The inmediatly plans of the cellar arc focused in continuing the investment process trying to procure the Bodega with the technical and human means that are essential to set the cellar among the most prestigious ones. Nevertheless, the actual staff of the cellar have made possible all the quality and marketing objectives as a regard of their work and dedication. We are obtaining a great expansion in the process of marketing the wines in the domestic market (we are represented in the most of the region in Spain) as in the international markets, exporting to different countries that belong to the European Union as to some others outside the E.U. We have obtained the Zarcillo prize, that means a reward for all the efforts we have made. Without any doubt, this prize will encourage all the people that are connected with the cellar: vinegrower, vinemaker, and the net distribution.
